Bori Mami has a culinary relationship between guests and restaurant. We create dishes from local, seasonal raw material sources while keeping an eye on awereness. We also consider it important to buy from local suppliers, thus supporting sustainability on family farms. We believe in warm hospitality and perfect ingredients to make everyone a special experience during their time here.

We are waiting for our guests in a renewed environment, with a special design, in Gyöngyös, in the heart of the town centre.

Our story

The Hungarian bistro culture has begun to flourish in recent years. In Gyöngyös, BORI MAMI sowed its seeds-it not only operates as a restaurant at the foot of Mátra , but also plays a pioneering role in the modern revival of civic life. The unique gastro bistro in the town opened its doors in the summer of 2014, in the patinated centre of Gyöngyös, called Belváros Square. The elegant yet light-hearted interior of BORI MAMI with more than 40 seats and a homely and warm atmosphere make it feel like we are returning home.It serves the whole family with its food and drink offerings as well as its programmes and live music concerts, so that everyone from the youngest to the oldest can find the right one for them.
